We spent a long weekend in Houston, TX for a family-integrated church conference. We came home with lots of information and 20 hours of speakers to listen to. The kids were able to spend lots and lots of time in the hotel pools on the drive to and from and in Houston (which of course had an outside pool!).
The weekend before, Jay and I had a getaway to Washington, DC (while the kids had a super fun weekend with Nana and Grandpa Mike!). We ran the Marine Corp Marathon along with Mom, Dad, Sarah, and Rob. It's definitely in our plans sometime to go to the area again with the kids. There's so much to see and experience. (no pictures because I'm not sure how to get them off my phone yet :)
Other than that, there's not too much news. Our momma cat has left us, and three of the kittens have moved on... One is with Kenai and Arbor, and the other 2 ... well, let's talk about that another time. We'll just say I didn't win the mommy award last week. Who knows - maybe we'll have another litter next spring from the one we have left.
