This past Saturday, we had a Russian Christmas adventure with Nana and Mike. They took us to the Russian Art Museum (really neat!). Then we indulged in a wonderful Russian lunch with about 12 different dishes. We were stuffed!! The real treat was when 3 men from St. Mary's Balalaika Orchestra came to the house and entertained us with some music! The instrument in the middle is a prima domra. He strums the strings with just his index finger! The instrument on the far right is the bass. It has a fancier Russian name, but it's escaped me. Gracie went for a closer look and even got to play it!JEMs... Jay and Em's 5 treasures. This blog will share some of our family stories and adventures.
