Our postman called about 7:20 this morning. "Your chicks are here!" Alex and I quickly threw on shoes and headed out to pick them up. They sure chirped the whole way home. I think the post office was pretty glad we were quick to get them rather than leave them making noise there all morning!
The above side of the box had 10 barred rocks and 5 gold stars. The below box has 5 buff orpingtons, 5 black australops, and 5 white rocks. In about 20 weeks we should have lots of beautiful brown eggs. (And in about 20 weeks we'll have our own "egg hatching" with a baby girl or boy! :-)
